This fire blanket complies with AS/NZISS 3504 Australian standards. Fire blankets are used for putting out flames that start from cooking or clothing fires. The best place for location of fire blankets is in the kitchen or cooking area. A suitable location is between the stove and the kitchen exit. Make sure you and your family are familiar and practised with how to use a fire blanket in an emergency situation. *Please note it is highly recommended that a fire extinguisher not be used on a stove oil/fat fire due to the extremely risk of spreading the fire.
