The Scotty Firefighter Pistol Grip Ball Shut-Off is a lightweight, easy-to-handle ball valve designed to provide firefighters with positive control of water flow at the end of the hose line.

Manufactured from tough, corrosion-resistant glass-reinforced polymer, the Scotty 4080 combines durability with low weight, making it particularly suited to bushfire, forestry, rural fire and general firefighting applications.

Its distinctive pistol-grip design features finger-grooved hand grips for improved comfort and control, providing a secure grip during extended firefighting operations.

Reducing weight at the working end of a hose line can improve handling and help reduce operator fatigue, particularly during prolonged firefighting operations.

The Scotty 4080 uses lightweight glass-reinforced polymer construction to provide a durable shut-off valve without the unnecessary weight associated with many traditional metal components.

The moulded pistol grip and finger grooves provide a comfortable, positive hand position for easy operation and hose-line control.

Versatile Hose-Line Configuration

The Scotty Pistol Grip Ball Shut Off connects directly to 38 mm fire hose or 25 mm fire hose (Requires 4083 38 x 25 adaptor)

When used with a compatible 4083 reducer, the shut-off can also be configured for use with a 25 mm (1") hose line, providing additional flexibility for forestry and bushfire firefighting applications.

This modular configuration allows fire services to adapt the shut-off to different hose-line requirements while retaining the same familiar pistol-grip control.

Durable, Corrosion-Resistant Construction

The body is manufactured from tough glass-reinforced polymers, providing a lightweight and corrosion-resistant alternative to conventional metal shut-off valves.

This makes the 4080 particularly well suited to demanding firefighting environments where equipment is regularly exposed to water, dirt and outdoor operating conditions. Replacement handle grips are available in multiple colours, allowing equipment to be identified or colour-coded according to operational requirements.
